Joffre and Panorama Ridge
Sarah and I recently traveled into Garibaldi Provincial Park for a 36 km hike past Black Tusk and up to Panorama Ridge. Being late fall we have been getting some great weather; so we thought it may be our last chance of the season. No snow until we got to the base of the ridge and then things got fun.
Sarah climbs almost straight up to the ridge using some post holes already made by someone a few days earlier. The views from the top were unreal with a "no pun intended" panoramic views.
The following day we still had some great weather and thought we would take advantage of going to Joffre Lakes. Lots of wind and very cold with a light snowfall. Sarah couldn't stop shivering for the rest of the evening.
