This past weekend, I traveled to Newburgh, Ontario, and then headed to Camden Lake near Yarker for a peaceful sunset walk. Newburgh, with its charming waterfalls, was the ideal spot for some long exposure photography. The movement of the cascading water against the slowly darkening sky created an incredible scene, perfect for capturing the fluidity of the falls while the sky turned brilliant shades of pink and orange.
As I arrived at Camden Lake, the golden hour was in full effect. The lake's calm surface reflected the warm tones of the setting sun, creating a magical atmosphere. It was one of those moments where everything felt in harmony—the light, the water, the quietness of the landscape. The way the light danced off the water’s surface made every shot feel like a new opportunity to capture nature’s beauty at its finest.
There’s something so special about combining a peaceful walk with the art of photography, especially when nature puts on a show like this. The evening was a perfect blend of serenity and creativity, and it reminded me of the beauty that surrounds us if we take the time to notice it.
