Mt. Baker Snowshoe

A very cold -32 C in the forecast, but lots of sun so Sarah and I decided to head down to Washington and snowshoe the Mt. Baker area.

Even just stopping for a minute my beard started to frost up and the winds started howling through our ears.  We had brought lots of water, but had to constantly agitate them to stop them from freezing.  Beautiful views along the entire trip.

Topping off the day we were greeted with the alpine glow over Mt. Shuksan.  No matter how many times I see it .... it never gets old.
